On Friday (July 11), a graduation ceremony was held for graduates of the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Philosophy and Cognitive Science. It was a day full of emotions, reflections, and excitement—a symbolic end to an important stage in the academic lives of our students.
On Wednesday, June 18, Białystok will host an extraordinary event. The Cognitive Science Club of the University of Białystok, in cooperation with Johnny's Grający Białystok Foundation, invites you to an open demonstration of cognitive games called “Mindgames.” Admission is free, and the organizers promise that there will be no shortage of attractions!
We regret to announce the passing of Prof. Włodzimierz Pawluczuk – sociologist and religious scholar, journalist and writer, associated with the University of Białystok since 1997.
At the stand, students from our faculty presented optical illusions, cognitive biases, and psychological concepts of personality in theory and practice. Visitors could see how perception can mislead us and discuss the nature of reality and consciousness.
